Otto: [to his two-year-old sister] I’m going to give her a little keese on the chick.

Otto: What are you and Papa going to do with [Due] when he grows taller?
Me: What do you mean when he grows taller? He’s already 6 ‘ 2.
Otto: I mean when he grows too tall for the house? Where’s he going to go?

Otto: Are there seeds in these oranges?
Me: No, they’re seedless oranges.
Otto: Then why is there a seed in my orange? Did they make it wrong?

Me: [during school lessons] You answered that question very articulately.
Otto: I know. I did it slowly so that I didn’t make a stake.
Ah, the apple orange clearly doesn’t fall far from the tree.

How precious are the conversations of little ones. Always makes me smile.
